The Living Desert is a desert zoo and botanical garden tucked against the Santa Rosa Mountains, home to giraffes, rhinos, bighorn sheep and a very good cafe. We fell for it on our first visit, and we cannot think of a better place to say our vows.

What to wear · Semi-formal, comfy shoes

A sociable species, seen in sunset plumage. Think semi-formal, polished but easy. There will be a lot of walking and a long night of dancing, so please choose shoes you will be happy standing in. Flats, block heels and loafers are very welcome.
